I'm so waisted, she so waisted

It's been many minutes since I last bought any sort of waist accessory, functional or decorative. You can't leave the hips out though, they need love too!! So I spotted not one, but two drool-worthy pieces I thought I'd share. First up, a plexiglass belt by Margiela from Project No. 8. Bonkers, yes, amazing, double yes. This belt would look so good over anything cause it's clear, duh!!



And then what do we have here? Seven New York just posted this preview image of these Chris & Tibor for Walter Van Beirendonck belt bags that just came in for fall. I mean it's a belt bag (super functional/hands free), and you get 3 or 4 pockets to divide up your shit. I'm so into this!

Wozoco

A little bit ago, I picked up on a Korean shop from my blog buddy gaak o called Wozoco (not to be confused with the tasty Dutch apartment complex of the same name). They pretty much stick to the trend game and sell a lot of reinterpreted designs, but there's also quite a few hidden gems you won't see anywhere else. Now if I could just figure out how to order from this site!

One, two

My outfit habits this summer have gotten way too comfortable, but we had one of the most SCORCHING Julys ever in NYC so wearing less was all I could think about honestly. It seems to be getting back to normal around here though, so time to "try" a little harder I guess? Cue some inspiration...I love these looks that are all about black set off with a bright color.. both these ladies are killing it (Lotta always does!).

Play nice

I feel like every year around this time some sort of military-inspired trends start to trickle in. Right now I'm noticing more army green parkas and camo prints than ever before. Call me trendy, but I want in (plus I could use a new coat)! One thing I learned from my mom growing up was that green, particularly more earthy shades, work well with blonde hair...so let me at it! These are a few of the winners in my book.

Back from commercial break

Hola amigos!! I'm back from holiday so bear with me as I get caught up with the internet game and the game of life. Costa Rica was a blast into outer space..a much-needed complete 360º from the fast-paced dramatic world of the rotten apple. Despite the fantasy that included surfing, coconuts, rum, mass quantities of Imperial® beer, waterfalls, monkies, geckos, giant frogs, whale sex, jungles, and a dope crew of kids, I'm happy to be back on the grind...well sort of.

Rings and things

Since Amanda is away on her Costa Rican Surf holiday, I decided now was a good time to come out of my fashion coma. Sometimes life distracts you from the things you really enjoy, and after many months I am finally feeling inspired again! Please be patient as I get back into the swing of things...starting off short and sweet with two little accessories that really caught my attention last weekend.
