Carry it all
If you like your bags HUGE, you might be into this Alice + Olivia for Payless slouchy suede number that reminds me of similar bags Margiela did. It's got room for anything you might want to haul around, and will only cost you about $30. Screw you "IT" bags!!!

The nights are getting cooler but the sun is still warm
Here are some of the ladies that are inspiring me for the transition into the fall season. I'm looking forward to jackets, tights, and plaid.

HERE AND NOW/AND NOWHERE
Before some of you peace out for labor day weekend, make sure you go to Deitch Projects to check out one of my favorite artists, Tauba Auerbach. Her new exhibition, titled Here and Now/And Nowhere opens on Thursday night (6-9pm) and will feature a variety of her work including paintings that explore dimension and trick the eye, photographs, and a sculpture that will reside half outside and half inside the gallery. Also part of the opening is a performance by Auerglass (Tauba and her friend Cameron Mesirow of the band Glasser) in which the pair will play a composition on a wooden pump organ. Glasser will perform afterwards at 8pm. Come out Thursday, you won't regret it!

This Is Pop World
It's not like I wasn't already excited to get the fall issue of POP, what with all the significance of the cover (hello, bloggers-turned-cover stars with a Damien Hirst touch!! go Tavi! and congrats to Laia and Elizabeth for your appearances inside too) and it being the first issue under new editor Dasha Zhukova. Then I had to see these images from an editorial shot by Viviane Sassen, starring dollface Kinga Rajzak, and I'm standing behind this issue all the way. It's candy, it's pop, and it's some really beautiful styling...do I need two copies so I can rip one to shreds for my wall?

Lake of fire
Bless always makes me smile! They are at it again, this time putting their creative minds together with German company BLANK to produce these awesome bedsheets with all-over lake print. I would love to go to bed in these sheets every night. The set is available from mid-September for 355 Euro (hefty sum for sweet dreams).
