Creatures of winter

NYFW is here and a blizzard is getting underway outside. Great timing mother nature!! Regardless, the show must go on. Creatures of Comfort showed for the first time the other day, and the result was a collection I actually want to wear. The grid prints, eyeballs, glitter fabric, flat top beanies, shoes...it's all great and I'll definitely be popping by the store later this year. They manage to always do the minimal thing without being too minimal, namean?

Lounge life

The sweatshirt is one of those things that's not going anywhere. I've been seeing billions of variations lately just playing off logos and catch phrases alone, but peep these fresh takes on the staple. The sweatshirts were designed by NYC-based Amber and Alana Johnson for their label, Orseund Iris. I'm particularly feeling the last style called "Botanical Rave." :)

Gerlan Jeans

Toxic slime and Minnie Mouse and rave camo, OH MY! Gerlan Jeans got that and more and they are setting up shop in the LES tomorrow for a 7 hour pop-up jam. Don't miss it!

Wake up, drank

I had to steal this post from lady Luxirare. This is too good! I've never seen a better way to stylishly smuggle your liquor, albeit not much of it, but if it's the strong stuff, it'll still get you somewhere. It's a bangle if you can't tell. Bravo Cynthia Rowley...always liked you.

It does a body good

MOO. Being called a cow is a not a nice thing but Riccardo Tisci made the print look effortlessly cool and chic right down to the hooves.
