Louis Vuitton. Marc has done it once again. This '40s post-war inspired collection is too good. Ankle socks and heels done right.


Prada. Using ultra luxe fabrics and trims, and a sexy, yet somber color palette, Prada designed a collection for a classy, yet sassy lady. I love the play on portions, textures and oh-the knee socks!


Maison Martin Margiela. I really enjoy the casual tailored fit of these jackets, and although you can barely see it, the razor cuts on the tee are a nice touch.

Marc Jacobs x Kaws

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Marc Jacobs Mouse flats, Marc teamed up with KAWS to produce a super limited run of these amazing shoes (only 200 pairs worldwide!). Colette, Original Fake and Marc flagship stores (US & London) are carrying them. Well, that is to say if they still have them in stock, because these works of art were released on September 29th.

Such a precious Jewel

My prince has done it again. Of course the most highly anticipated collection of the week was a banger. It started (gasp) on time, and with Gershwin's "Rhaspody in Blue" playing in the background, Marc Jacobs sent 53 shimmery, jewel-toned creations down the runway. With an eclectic mix of 1940's secretary/asian/jazz, the main focus was the waist. Jacobs wrapped his ladies tightly in multicolored sashes or elaborate leather corset belts. With a mixture of textures and prints, the highly stylized collection featured metallic brocades, polka dots, tweed, leopard prints, stripes and butterfies. Head to toe — great detail was paid to hats, sexy shoes, tapestry bags and jewelry. Marc really knows how to set the trend and provide women with a truly unique and classy sense of style. (I just wish my bank account agreed)

falling for fall

I've ready begun the weekly trips to Beacon's and Buffalo Exchange to drop off clothes to make room (and money) for my favorite season of them all...Fall! I wear a lot of dresses, so i'm really feeling this alice + oliva 2 toned lil number, and of course Marc Jacobs had to go there with a sick leather mini dress. And his structual bramble tweed top is a perfect complement to black skinny jeans. And all three looks would look awesome with these patent white doc martens.(I know they have been out for a while, but I'm still obsessed.)
