Flashback: Comme des Garçons Fall 2007

This is one of those collections I can't seem to get out of my head. There are so many elements to the overall look that really stand out – the cotton candy afros, the brightly-hued eyelids, the mickey mouse-esque head pieces and the quirky embossed hands and bows. These clothes might not be for everyone, but Rei Kawakubo always succeeds at creating an imprint in our minds and continues to be among the most creative designers in the fashion world. Her line for H&M, due in stores this fall, will no doubt be one of the most sought after collaborations H&M has ever done.
