You're Only Weird To The Ones On the Outside

Last Night I checked out the Metal Magazine launch party at the Dactyl Foundation Gallery in Soho. There was a huge turnout— to be expected when you have any free-fashion-or-art-related opening in Soho. I managed to snag a free margarita as I made a lap around the perimeter, my eye often more drawn to the incredibly-dressed downtown kids, then to the photography on the walls. For the premiere issue, the images were grouped into categories like rockers or party kids. Here's some pictures— enjoy!
