I feel like Phillip Lim is on to something with his bags for next season...very tongue in cheek. I appreciate that he doesn't take himself so seriously. Of course, if you're going to spend a lot on a bag, you want it to be "an investment piece". I guess this is kind of poking fun at that in a way?

i love it when designers have a sense of humor like this. here, lim is poking fun at the whole foundation of the industry but at the same time, creating a piece of art.
