Wood grain I'm grippin'
There's a lot to be said for the advancement in digital printing on textiles in recent fashion seasons. Fall 2011 was no exception, and once again, I'm smacked in the face with some amazing head-to-toe, or head-to-knee in this case, 3D to 2D designs. Two of my favorites came from Celine and Stella McCartney in the form of wood grain and gold foil prints. I mean, WOW, right??

I've always had a soft spot for digital prints. I had one on horrible stretchy material in the nastiest baby doll tee shape in the 90s of a boy blowing out his birthday cake candles. I tried to wear that thing well into the 2000s so I'm glad a decade later it's all coming back.
usually not a big fan of prints, but i love, love, love these!
dude, i totally bought a marni top from yoox that's wood grain! i'll have to find it...
