Gucci's gone hard

So it's not what you'd expect from Gucci in terms of a "luxury house" in that the clothes are pretty trendy and accessible overall. The collection has a hard edge and takes us to the dark side, but we are in a dark time, so I think it's appropriate she kept things real. Frida Giannini seemed intent on giving the insomniac party girl plenty of options—wet, glittery blacks, crystal tops, metallics, and geometric dresses paired with leather pants or skinny trousers. They are the evolution of the Robert Palmer girls, complete with the most badass dark shades and crimson lips.
