Opening Ceremony Turning Japanese
Opening Ceremony just announced their new country for the fall season- Japan! Expected to hit the racks sometime in August, the stock will consist of designs from such fashion innovators as Green, G.V.G.V, Hiromi Tsuyoshi, Lad Musician, End Pin, United Arrows (Beauty and Youth), Cosmic Wonder, and Whereabouts to name a few. In addition- and this is what got met the most excited- Comme des Garçons is doing a pop-up shop in store! The first-ever “Opening Ceremony presents Middle Space/Comme des Garçons shop” will feature the complete fragrance line, wallet collection, and select items from the Play collection.
If that's not enough Japanese invasion for you, the store is also going to carry exclusive Japanese kicks from brands like Nike Sportswear, Pendleton, Converse, and Redwing. For your toy fix, Opening Ceremony will be collaborating with Sanrio to create in-store toy-vending machines as well.
Being the Japanese culture vulture that I am, I will definitely be counting down the days for this one!
