Brace yourself '90s kids! House of Style is coming back, like for REAL. Nuts right? The pre-internet show that so perfectly captured fashion and my generation from 1989-2002 is set to return and I couldn't be more stoked. I know it won't be the same without Cindy Crawford hosting (and they've yet to pick a host for the return), but television needs a series like this back on the airwaves. It doesn't premiere until October, but MTV has done what they should have done a long time ago and compiled around 170 clips from the show's 72 episodes for our viewing pleasure. I watched a bunch of them already...there's some serious gems!

My kind's your kind
Spending the weekend in Baltimore for Easter, I opted for a saturday night of SNL and movies so I felt relaxed the next day for family time. The musical guest on SNL was yeah yeah yeahs, and I was stoked to see what Karen O would wear. I have to agree with White Lightning in that I'm an avid fan of hers- she can pull off almost ANYthing. Her stylist/costume designer Christian Joy, who I've talked about before, is seriously a genius. She made this insane leather jacket with zip-reveal shoulders that Karen wore for the first song, Zero (and also on the cover of the March Spin (but backwards).

For the second number, Maps, Karen rocked this patriotic one-piece with some crazy tube detailing. The matching blue eyes and red lips looked awesome on her.

The Olsens do Oprah
The Olsens will be on Oprah tomorrow to talk about their latest projects. My friend designs for The Row, their high-end line, and I recently tried on a sample of these rust-colored stretch suede pants they were working on. The fit was GOLDEN—I wanted to leave with them.

I Die, You Die
Great, I'm addicted to yet another Bravo reality series. Rachel Zoe is nuts but I can't turn away from her insane lifestyle, and I enjoy watching her assistants argue and bitch even more. Taylor is a control freak with an attitude problem, and Rachel has anxiety issues but says the most basic phrases like "kills it" with such passion, you instantly will start talking like her too.
