New Blood
I went to an exhibit at Merge Gallery (205 W. 20th St.) called "New Blood" by Jordan Eagles. He uses cow blood as his medium, as well as resin and plexiglas. Each painting consists of around 30 layers of blood depending on the color he wishes to achieve. The first photo is done on clear plexi, while the other two are on white plexi. Unfortunately, the show is no longer at Merge, but above are some photos I took of the work. For more info and photos check out his website.
