Cheapo

Cheapo is a Swedish footwear company that started 3 years ago as an offspring of accessory label Blammo. Their signature hybrid sneaker boot is as affordable as it is original (I own 2 pairs so far) and pretty much fueled Cheapo's international expansion. Their Autumn 2008 collection introduces even more styles of sneakers, including the chain ankle boot I will have to hunt down. I emailed the reps at Cheapo and learned that select styles will be stocked on this side of the Atlantic starting this fall: at Oak in NYC and Urban Outfitters later in the season.
