Alexander Wang Spring 2009

So the much anticipated sophomore collection from Alexander Wang was shown today in NYC and I must say that overall I wasn't as impressed as his first. The stand-outs to me were the leather pants, and those sweater tops with see through-portions. There was one flashdance-esque look that was a little confusing and some splashes of neon that didn't quite go with the rest of the collection, but hey, the guy isn't perfect. There was a lot of casual sweats meets rock club vibe going on which was a cool approach. I definitely noticed the shoes too— maybe they are from his upcoming diffusion line?
