Andrea Crews FW09

Here's more general craziness from Paris-based collective Andrea Crews. It's hard to summarize what they do exactly because they mix up a little bit of everything into one big wearable art form. The original concept of the brand was to recycle clothing by reinterpreting vintage items into new ideas. The more recent collections seem to explore graphics and prints a bit more though.

I actually made a similar egg-print shirt for Lunar Lover, a side project I'm working on with my friend Tina Lovely. I get a lot of inspiration from designers like Crews, so it's no surprise we had the same idea. A lot of the post-vintage pieces are really cool and you can purchase some of the creations at their online shop if you aren't in Paris.
