The JC In The Sky With Diamonds SS09 show was an engaging presentation of 45 technicolor silhouettes that included a mish-mash of pop culture references like a sequins dress with a portrait of Obama, and accessories built out of legos. Primary colors were the consistent palette, and the collection also included a cheeky wedding dress which closed the show. I love Castelbajac's work—he's like the modern Warhol of the fashion world and I need to get my hands on something by him. He's been doing his thing for 40 years, and he still always finds new ways to make people smile.
