As we all know, Williamsburg has been blowing up the past couple of years. Restaurants, condos, and high-end boutiques have infiltrated this once industrial area of Brooklyn. On one hand this sucks because of all the touristas crowding my weekend brunches, and my once laid back and lazy shopping strolls have turned into chaotic and stressful shopping nightmares. BUT, on the other hand, I don't have to deal with the L train on the weekends to brave the LES and Soho shopping crowds, because everything I crave is just steps away! With Woodley and Bunny, Oak, Catbird, Pinkyotto, etc...and the much buzzed about Apple store that might be coming to Bedford Ave, trips to the city will be a thing of the past (well, except for those trecherous commutes to and from work Mon-Fri).
Oh, and this just in.... Nolita Boutique SIR is opening on Bedford and fabulous Brit designer Paul Smith is opening up near Roebling and Grand!
