I somehow overlooked American-born Natascha Stolle completely, despite her well-received debut on the Fashion East catwalk in London for Spring 09. She was just listed on Refinery's list of "eight designers you need to know in 2009" and I couldn't agree more. She describes her designs as "clothes for girls who wish they'd been sluts in high school." I love her already! Her spring collection was a refreshing mix of glam and teenage sensibility using a palette of mostly gray and black with rainbow stripes thrown in for good measure. The one-sided hairstyling was a perfect compliment to the sassy looks.

hahaha at "for girls wish they had been sluts in high school". That is the best way to describe something!
