Had it been a few weeks earlier, maybe I'd gear this post towards the gifting spirit- "for the foodie in your life." I don't know, I'm not a foodie, but one of my new years resolutions is to cook more, and to learn how to make sushi. I would certainly wear a sterling silver fork around my neck too, courtesy of Tom Binns via Kabiri.

i like this necklace. i once saw a spoon cuff bracelet. who knew eating utensils could be fashionable.
ah, sushi is so easy to make - it takes a couple of attempts to get the roll right, but as long as you have the right equipment (japanese rice vinegar is a must if you dont want the rice stuck to your fingers, and to wipe on the knife before you cut for a clean edge).

I initially didn't recongnise the shape as a fork as there is no handle - clever! Good luck with your sushi making exploits. It's actually easier than it looks.
